      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I upgraded my Iphone to Note 3 on Saturday and kept my number. I am not an expert on these things but the guy in the shop (who was very helpful as I had originally changed provider when ordering the Note 3) said to turn my phone off in a few hours and then it may have already "ported" It is now Sunday evening 20.00 and I still have the connection on my Iphone but not the note......anyone have any ideas why this has not happened yet?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks id advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ty&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>who was your previous provider?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I guess you had your pac code and in the o2 store the used that?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;keep turning the old phone off and on once that loses service from previous provider the porting process has started then can take 24 hours</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was with O2.....it was an upgrade. My Iphone was not&amp;nbsp;on 4g but the note is so I assume it is not a case of just swapping sim over?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok now we have a clearer picture.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;O2 should have just done a swap my sim procedure if the sim sizes are diferent as the account would have been changed to smartphone and 4g data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the sim is the same size just swap them over as the account would have been changed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
