poor reception at home....only

hi all,

im getting very poor reception at home - used to be good until around 2 months ago - but is always poor now - often i dont show any bars in the radio signal plus low data signal too.

as soon as i move to another cell area, say at work, i get full radio and data signal all day!

O2 sent me a new sim but that made no difference - ive just spoken to the online support peeps and they said rebooting my phone would fix it?!!?! how is that ?!

surely it must be an issue with the local mast, or something that is imparing the signal from said mast ?

Check your mast status here : http://status.o2.co.uk/

This will tell you if your masts near your postcode/city are working ok.

Also if your a pay monthly customer then TuGo may be an avenue.

Or whatsapp and viber.

Sometimes switching to 2G in your phones settings can help too.
