Hi I'm looking into upgrading my iphone 5 I have had it now for 0ne year of a two year contract

I see there is a cost of about 300 pound to get a early upgrade but can you tell me if I get to keep my iphone or do I have to return it?

Hi john.

The iPhone 5 is yours to keep , pass on or sell if your on a standard pay monthly tariff

Someone on a Refresh Tariff is not allowed to dispose of the hardware until the monies have been completed for the hardware.

I still have another year to go but 02 now let you update early for a price I just wanted to know if you payed off the contract do you get to keep phone

some ppl say you have to sell your phone back to 02 which I don't want to do as I want to pass it on

The iPhone 5 is yours to do as you wish.

You can use O2 recycle if you wish where they give you a set amount of cash.

You can also sell the iPhone to a shop , family or friends to raise the funds to help pay off the initial cost of the speed to refresh contract I think your talking about.
