O2 Phone Sim in Northern Ireland

I'm travelling from England to Belfast, Northern Ireland next week for 10 days. Will my monthly SIM work as if it were in England or does it pick up an international tariff and data roaming charges?

the clue is Northern Ireland (part of the uk) unlike eire (southern ireland)

If you are close to the border with eire turn data roaming off and select manual network selection to o2-uk.

Your phone will work just like you are at home here.

Obviously aware that NI is part of UK but was being told that O2 signal was not out there for some reason. Just wanted to confirm

Ignore any advice that o2-uk is not available in NI but as I said if you get close to the eire border disable roaming etc to save on costs.

There are threads on here about coverage etc in Belfast and issues.
