Mobile Keeps Disconnecting

Hi newbie here,my wife's got a Samsung SGH-J700 [dont laff]
now the problem is when i phone her she receives the call but

after 2 seconds it disconnects also she cant hear me,she has credit,

and a full battery

Is it only between you and your wife you experience this issue?

Does the call disconnect even if not picked up? Do you get through to voicemail?

Has this just started now ?

Maybe just a case of checking the settings as best you can,and checking coverage in your area is not affected.

I quite like the phone if I'm honest I had one a long time ago and they're difficult to break(great for people like me:D) quite sleek designs as well:)

Years ago I had a Nokia 6110 which bounced a few times with no ill effects.

The older samsungs & nokias were the best, long lasting batteries, could drop it accidentally, no scratches or damage to the phone

How long has it been going on for?

May sound stupid but try wiping the sim down and putting it back in. Has fixed one phone doing this before(might be a coincidence:()

I actually wonder if the handset may be at fault dropping the calls.

Do you have a spare phone to try the sim in?

Have you used the O2 checker, or call cs & ask for a replacement sim

You can pick a new one(refurbed) up for £15+ if you'd like to go that way ill point you in the direction of a reputable seller.

hi, im having the same issue with my sony errisson xperia ray, cant have a conversation as it disconnects seconds into the call. even if i ring back the phone could disconnect at least four more times before i give in. I've re-set the phone back to the original settings, even tried turning it on and off again. i have no clue how to fix it.

any ideas?
