why is there not free O2 to O2 calls and texts as a standard for all O2 customers? it would be so benificial, and it would show the O2 appreciates its customers.

Unlimited PAYG tariff allows this when you top up.

Majority of my contacts are not on O2 so I can't utaliase the tarif if you have enough friends on O2 I'd suggest using it:)

I agree with you but I dont think any network provides this and I cant see o2 doing it

3 have been giving free 3 to 3 calls for years - the package I was on 4-6 years ago gave me 300min/month free 3 to 3. Dont know about other networks

If you want unlimited O2 to O2 calls & texts, go onto the O2 unlimited tariff

Can someone explain to me if I can contact someone on my monthly contract with someone who is on pay as you go. I was told that any 02 customer could contact another free of charge.

Sorry, I don't understand your post, however, inclusive contract minutes can be used to contact any UK mobile anywhere and the call will come from your allowance.

Yes, the free O2-O2 calls and texts can be used across both platforms.

Be aware though that if you or the other person has recently changed from P&G to contract or viceversa, it can take a couple of days for the system to reregister the O2 number.
