Armed Forces benefits?

Good afternoon,

I am a serving member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces and I am aware of reductions in bills for people in my profession from other service providers. I have stumbled across the (up to) £75 calltime benefit for serving members, but are there any further benefits available to us? I currently spend more than 6 months away each year outside of UK waters (indeed outside of the ability to even use my mobile abroad) and would like to know if there are any standing discounts in place (for example, 25% off the bill or somesuch). Unfortunately for the vast majority of the time the Royal Navy does not seem to fall into the 'active warzone' areas required for suspending contracts, and the Ship I am on currently has not and will not qualify for this for the duration of it's lifespan.

If anyone can help I will be greatly obliged.

Good to see you here, I don't know of any special offers other than the suspension for being in a war zone.

Have you tried asking customer services or checking with any naval organisations to see if they know any more?

Hey Perksie,

I haven't yet contacted customer services, I was hoping to 'go armed' with as much information as possible, as I know at times customer services can be somewhat.... obtuse when you're asking for benefits or reductions in bills. I haven't seen anything much at work, however we tend to find the same thing is usually true with dissemination of information that actually benefits us there too; noone seems to actively help us.

But I'll keep looking!
