Took out a pretty great contract with Samsung, was half the price per month for a new contract on an S25 in comparison to what O2 were offering. My old phone had just broken too so was in a bit of a rush! Thing is, I've been an O2 customer for 20 years and I've had the same number since then. So how do I port my longstanding mobile number, to replace the mobile number I now have with this new contract? Help would be much appreciated.

The number I want to keep is out of contract as well so I'm just paying monthly for air time.

Thanks,

Hannah

We did this recently. I had no issue, just phoned up and it was done withing 5 mins. Hubby was told they couldn't do it, he just asked to speak to a manager and then his too was done straight away. Stick to your guns, it can be done even if they say otherwise!

It seems to be down to which agent you get.

If you get a "no", keep trying......
