Minimum period?

I'm looking to find out what's the minimum period for my contract. The agreement says that if I end the contract (I'm on month 12 of 24) before the minimum period I need to pay an early termination charge for each month until the end of the minimum period. I looked at the whole agreement and contract but there's no mention whatsoever of a minimum period. I thought about giving a call but I don't trust whatever they say, since they missold this contract, then promised to make amends when I asked to cancel in the first 14 days and then never delivered what they promised, leaving me with a more expensive plan, less data and none of the perks they promised.

I'm considering just biting the bullet and paying whatever needs to be paid to just switch now instead of another year of this.

Does anybody know where I can find information on the minimum period for my contract?
