      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’ve had a call from 02 saying that because I’m a valued customer I can have 12 months discount on my phone charges.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how do u verify this is correct or is it a scam&lt;/P&gt;</description>

They can help protect your account and stop transactions.&lt;BR /&gt;Change your account and online account passwords. Not just your O2 account.       <description>&lt;P&gt;O2 are running one or two promotions &lt;a href="https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/5796775"&gt;@Supag&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;at the moment but my experience is that these are delivered by text message. They are also targeted too - mine was to move from PAYG onto a very light contract.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did not click on any links although they looked genuine to me. Instead, I sent a screenshot of the text to O2's social media team - they quickly confirmed that it was authentic.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thumbs_up:"&gt;👍&lt;/span&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
