Changing Data Only Sim to Regular Sim

Hi, recently bought my son his first phone and I'm looking to convert the current sim he has in his ipad from a data only to a regular sim, is there any way I can do this or will I have to purchase a new sim card?

Most likely not, @MiaEva - you will need to contact O2 or, preferably, take iPad, SIM and phone, along with photo id, into an O2 Shop. They are best able to tell you what options you have. Good luck!

Yes you will need to upgrade the plan to a full sim only, this can only be done at upgrade time.. as if you try before then you will only be presented with data only plans
