How Long Do Refunds Take?

Ordered a phone on Wednesday, realised I ordered the wrong model. Contact O2 and was told to refuse it.

Refused it on Thursday, has been sat in the local depot since Friday.

Isn't it supposed to be being returned to O2?

How long does it take to get a refund normally? I have a lot of money tied up in the upfront fee.

Not a question we customers can really answer as it will be dependent on a number of factors including return to O2.

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255, free from any phone or landline

Once O2 acknowledge receipt of the phone it takes around 2 weeks to get the refund.

Once it shows in your MyO2, you can request it there.

That's true.

Will answer my own question lol. I got the refund today. So refused package Thursday, received refund Wednesday.

Though it would have been good if there was more an automated email saying package had been recieved, being processed etc

My most recent refund from O2 took a month @Jay1972211 ; but that was twelve months' ago.

It was also a cheque through the post. 👍

That really sucks! Mine was in my account instantly. I paid upfront using paypal
