Swapping to eSIM

I just changed to pay monthly/rolling plan earlier today so just wondering when will the option to swap to eSIM appear for me? Or would it be easier to pop into local store to get a QR code?

I was using as PAYG for years but trying to prep for eSIM swap before or on the day of setting up my new iPhone 16 Pro.

Any help/timeframe appreciated,

You cannot get an esim on any PAYG tariff with O2.

You need a pay monthly contract tariff.

@RyanCooley If the new iPhone is still capable of taking a physical sim you might want to look at this before you swap to an esim: Why not to go esim - O2 Community
