Higher bill than expected

This message says I get free roaming in Europe. So Why was I charged for 'Charges when abroad' at £2.90?

This bill is far higher (£12.78) than the promised continuation price from Virgin at £9.30.

Not too happy up to now!

@CathyG753 - this may explain your £2.90, not all countries in Europe are included in the O2 Roaming deal:
