Applying a transferred number (via a PAC) to an existing line on my account

Is it possible to change an existing number on my multiline account (that's been on there over a year) via a PAC code from Vodafone, essentially keeping the same contact (minutes, data, expiry date) but updating the number to that from Vodafone?

Or does it only work on new lines within a certain time window?

Yes you can port the number any time

You can port in at any time but you must choose an O2 tariff which my not be the same as Voda.
