Temporary number

Hi so I recently moved over from EE to 02 and transferred my number over which seemed to be fine I’ve got all my contacts and they can contact me on my normal number. If I contact someone else the temporary number shows up instead.

Any advice appreciated x

Is this an iphone @Ab2201 ?

If so go to settings/phone/my number

In put correct number, save and reboot the phone

What type of phone were you and and are you on now @Ab2201 ?

Does it matter if you are replying to a message or starting a new conversation?

Gone from a iPhone XR to iPhone 12 Pro Max

when people text and phone me it comes through to my normal number when I text or phone them it comes through as my temporary number that 02 gave me in the beginning

Have you tried the instructions that @jonsie gave earlier (settings-->phone-->my number)?

Then hit save and restart the phone.

If that doesn't work you might need to get in touch with Apple to see if something is preventing the change.
