I've been charged extra for purchasing things off of itunes which I do not own an acccount

Very strange. Is there anyone living with you who could have made these purchases without your knowledge?

I understood that enabling charge to mobile iTunes required a verification code to be entered on the iPhone?

If you don't understand how these charges have been made then you need to contact O2 to check your account. All numbers to call are here
