      <description>I need to cancel o2 contract as I am paying for phone that got lost on a trip out, the phone is in my brothers name and the device plan has been payed off, the direct debit has been canceled too but I still pay for bill manually as I realised it doesn't cancel contract and I just need to know exactly what to do and what information I'll need to just cancel the contract which is just for airtime only now. I am not interested in trying to find the phone as I have new one I just need to cancel contract as soon and as easily as possible</description>

      <description>do you know what information he will need to provide for example security question or account number? or can he just give notice and then after 30 days it will be canceled?</description>

O2 would have sent out a new sim associated with that contract's airtime which could have been used in any phone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
