Sim only to Device Upgrade.

Hello, I've had a sim only since November and my upgrade page says come back in 2 days to upgrade to a device. Do you receive a credit check when you upgrade? I've paid all my bills on time, and I'm guessing if I hadn't it wouldn't allow me to upgrade in 2 days?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

AS you have had a sim only since November there 'may' be a credit check as noted in the terms and conditions (section 3 1st para)

I've paid 6 clear bills and wasn't eligible after 3 months.

Yes, you will be credit checked as the device plan is a separate credit agreement.

Hmm, strange then. I've been told by customer services no credit check but then you read different stories..

There are no credit checks on a like for like upgrade, but as you currently haven't been checked for a device plan CCA, you will be done the first time.
