Upgrade promo code not working

I'm due for an upgrade an I recieved a promo code recently which was supposed to discount my upfront cost of a new device. The upgrade had to be made by the 15th of October 2020, but I have been trying to apply it today, on the 14th and it says the code is invalid. I have followed the instrucitons on the email to the letter and I also attach what it said re the dates:

2. "Eligible Phone" is a phone taken by with a Device Plan on O2 Refresh by an existing O2 pay monthly customer.
3. The Voucher code is valid until the 15 October 2020, as set out in your email or SMS after which it will expire. Invalid or expired voucher codes will not be accepted.

So unless O2 is working on a different timezone to the UK I don't understand why I can't apply it.

I would really appreciate if someone could assist with this issue. Thank you
