Upgrade to sim only (keeping same number)

How can I upgrade my current plan to a sim card plan while keeping the same number? Is there a way to do it online or do I need to call o2 to do this?

See if you have the option to upgrade in My O2 and select sim only

You keep the same sim card and number @Amelia2

Your number automatically carries forward when you upgrade.

ive checked that but sim upgrades dont show up on any upgrade options

A sim only upgrade will only be available when you have completed the minimum term of your contract.
