I’m contemplating upgrading, how do I ensure my work discount code is applied and how much discount would I get?

The amount of discount would depend on the type of work discount you are entitled to. You do not say what work discount you are opting for. This information would assist us in advising you further.

Code Check and confirmation process: You can text OPEN followed by the company name to 61202 and it will confirm your eligibility and the O2 Open code to use. Make sure you try different variations of your company name if unsuccessful with one version. ie, NHS, health service, health trust, etc.

You can't get your discount until you upgrade though. Then follow the process above.
With O2 Open you get:
25% discount on 3GB and above Airtime Plans (data, minutes and texts).
15% discount on 1GB and above Airtime Plans (data, minutes and texts).

If you're within the first 28 days of taking out your contract you will be able to add the discount

I believe it ppears on your second bill.

I have found this process mind boggling and complicated. In my last contract it was never applied as it was so difficult to get. I’m about to upgrade to an iPhone 11 and really want to get the discount this time round. I’m also in nhs.

Just follow the process but be aware that discount is not available with the 11 Pro currently https://www.o2.co.uk/open
