I've had some iTunes charges refunded back to my o2 account so my 'extra charges' now stands at minus £243. Is it possible to get this refunded back to my bank account from which it was originally paid ?

Call customer services on 202 to request it.

It will generally take around 21 days.

It is but you need to call customer service to request this. It can take up to 14 days.
