Can i add this service on to any new 'sim only' 30 day contract and then use in China immediately (China isnt within the 75 inclusive countries) by paying the £4.99 fee when using data there?

i'm going to china for 2 weeks and this seems to be the easiest and cheapest way to use my phone out there without running up £100's in bills, i'm currently not a o2 customer

thanks

Even if you do nothing else that day.

Yes it will still work whilst you are in contract. (Notice period won't affect that)

To avoid the charge, use wifi which is plentiful. You can stay in contact with friends and family using Messenger, Whatsapp or Skype (as long as they have the same apps)

I wouldn't recommend trying to tether as the speeds won't be fast enough.
