Because they have chosen to and discussing it here will not change it you will need to talk to o2 customer services directly on the phone to have any complaint you have with there service investigated.

This is the reason why the Co-op mode of the game does not work. When the username bypass is used in the apn settings instead of o2web, it does not proxy traffic on port 8080 so it works but it still takes almost 20 seconds to fall back on port 8080.
