Does anyone know how easy it is just to change my number, don't need a phone as just had an upgrade, but for personal reasons I need the number changing.

Just call 202 and they will change your number for you. You get one free change.....

I have changed my number when I have upgraded, try calling O2 on 202 and ask, should be an easy process

You can have one free change, then I believe it's £35 a time for further changes.

how long does it take to chnage the number? and when will it active?

Usually at your next billing cycle start but if you ask cs they may be able to do it in 24 hours.

Does it have to be the bill payer changing the number?

It has to be the account holder which may be different to the bill payer.

Whoever the number is registered to needs to make any account changes.

Anyway at the moment Pool is a priority. Shame there isn't an app for that.....
