As a pay and go customer I would have preferred £10 off something in a 'real' shop as I could then have had £10 off a case for my Iphone .... but can't see anything in the 'priority moments' except cinema tickets, dining out etc none of which I can use ... or lots of things that are not based anywhere near where I live ...
But at least the extra 10% on September top up will be nice thank you .. and yes, got the text this morning

Tim, just to clarify, the gesture of goodwill that we have agreed to offer to all impacted customers due to the disruption and inconvenience caused last week is 10% off for pay monthly & 10% extra top-up for pay&go customers not the £10 O2 voucher.
The £10 O2 voucher that can be used in store via O2 Priority Moments is announced as a *thank you* to all our customers for supporting us through an unprecedented and difficult period that we all have witnessed. If you're a fan of O2 Priority Moments, I'm sure you'll won't miss it on your feed
Thanks, Abs

It's nice to see the level headed customers coming through.
Can you not use the £10 voucher in an O2 shop, is it not printable? If not, maybe this is something O2 might wish to consider as well?

You can use the voucher instore. The voucher comes to you via Priority moments.

Are there still some issues that have not been corrected? Even though the ability to call out/receive calls has been corrected I still have issue with the message confimation notification not always working (ie the pop-up; 'Your message was sent, your balance is £10.00'). I have even check with the local 02 store and they told me it is a network issue. I have even reset my phone back to factory specs but it has not fixed the problem.

There does seem to be a problem with the balance notification, but it is nothing to do with the outage. Personally, that was the first thing I got turned off as I find it annoying.

Out of curiosity, can I use the £10 voucher towards my mobile phone bill instead?
No, it can only be used in the O2 shop.
I would have liked the chance to donate the £10 to charity.

My husband is also a pay and go O2 customer, but unfortunately he didn't get the text so presumably he won't get the offer ?

I am still getting problems with coverage.... My iphone 3gs works fine away from my home town but as soon as I get home I have no network coverage (B95 5LJ) I have been into the O2 shop and they have given me a new sim card but it still seems to have a problem, other people in my town have problems as well but then others seem fine... I am seriously thinking of changing to Orange, this from someone who has been a O2 customer for about 15 years.
