Today Motorola announced a tasty new treat.

A couple years ago Motorola were very quiet but when they came out with some game-changers such as the Moto E and the Moto G, the world once again took notice of them. The Moto G was particularly interesting because of the impressive specs it packed inside its compact shell, with an extremely modest price tag making it ideal for many looking for a powerful yet low-cost upgrade or replacement. Following on from this, Motorola have announced their brand new Moto G for 2015, and it improves on everything that made the original Moto G awesome.

Behond, the brand new model for 2015:

PS. I'll get some better photos up soon as I can! 😉

Specs make a phone, so here's what you're getting with this new device:

- 5-inch 720p display
- Quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC
- MicroSD slot
- 13MP rear camera w/ dual-tone flash and f/2.0 lens
- 5MP front camera
- 2,470mAh battery
- IPX7 certification, which allows the phone to survive in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes.

So, what you think? A welcome addition to the Motorola family? Well the good news is that if you want one, we’ll have it on sale from tomorrow! I’ll update the thread with a direct link as soon as it’s ready.

A very welcome edition at a reasonable price. Great and so much more than an entry level phone.

I doubt any phone will ever have the impact that either the Startac or Razr had when launched.
