Afternoon all,

Today we launch the newest smartwatch on the block on O2. Feast your eyes on the new Samsung Gear S

The Gear S is compatible with many Samsung Galaxy smartphones running Android 4.3 or higher - see the link at the bottom for a full list. The Gear S is one of the first smartwatches with both 3G and wifi, so you can always be in contact with your smartphone and make & receive calls or even texts, straight from your watch. It even has an easy to use onscreen keyboard.

Keep fit and stay motivated

Leave your phone at home when you're out training. The Samsung Gear S has advanced health sensors and GPS, to help you keep track of your exercise. S Health also keeps you motivated, by letting you set goals and helping you achieve them.

Get everything you need without lifting a finger

The Samsung Gear S has a wide range of features and apps, meaning you’ve got everything you need, right there on your wrist. You can even use your voice to control it. Get directions, ask for the weather, and get news updates whenever you want.

Just tried to add the Gear S to my contract.

Apparently it's only sold with its own contract?!

why would I have one phone number for my pocket and one number for my wrist?!!

Completely missed the point of 3G connectivity here guys.

I'm not angry, just disappointed...

Was really looking forward to picking this up.

You need a sim card in it but it doesn't have to be on contract.
