Hi @ask

You need to give 30 days notice to O2 at  contract end. If you don't it will continue as a 30 day rolling contract...

The onus is on you to cancel if you want to stop being charged, it's in the t&c & it would have been explained to you

It should have been explained but who bothers with t&cs...the very people who know what to do to end a contract.
