transfer number o2 to o2

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am on o2 refresh and took out a 2nd o2 contract with CPW last month to get the new Galaxy S7 so currently have 2 phones and 2 numbers.

My contract with o2 refesh has 3 months left on it at the minute. I've had this number for 15 years and would like to keep it if possible.

If i pay off the remainder of the o2 refresh contract will they allow me to keep this number and transfer it over to the CPW contract?

If so whats the best way to do this and who do i contact?

Thanks

Yes, they will.
Pay off your device plan first, through MyO2 or over the phone, then request the number transfer.
Simple as that slight_smile

Just to add, call CS on 202 - don't be tempted to use live chat.

Just call customer service, they will transfer the number to the new account which will automatically close the Refresh and produce a final bill.

having done this myself, and getting stuck due to the final device payment not being cleared before asking, follow the above advice given by @MI5.
once the balance is clear (check My o2 through the app or online) then call CS on 202 and request the transfer.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
