refresh downgrade?

Not applicable

I'd like to know if after paying off my refresh device plan I can change the tarrif plan? I can buy the phone for £280 but I'd only want to do this if I could also reduce the monthly line rental. Is this possible?

Hi @Anonymous

Once you have paid off the device you can cancel airtime and walk away if you wish

Once you pay the phone your best option is a sim only deal Have a look on the shop pages....down for maintenance just now but should be back shortly slight_smile

I'm off to bed anyway so I won't be waiting for the shop to come back online. I was going to post a link but maybe this will work later....

Once you pay off the phone you can choose what happens to the airtime.
You can cancel it and change to any other sim only tariff or leave it running for as long as the wish.
You will always be free to change it at any time you want.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

As long as you're happy with the phone you are paying off and want to keep it, a sim only contract is the way to go. Monthly sim only is more expensive than yearly. If you reach a point where you want to upgrade your phone, you will have to take a new Refresh contract which will have different tariff choices associated with it, as you have now.
