poor customer service advice / response S

Anonymous
Not applicable

I inadvertently blocked my voice mail yesterday about 5pm

I called customer services

I was told to text "reset" to 802901

I was told I would be sent a code to reactivate my voicemail

I calledd customer services again to check this and was told it would be resolved within 24 hours

I am still waiting

I am NOT HAPPY

Steve

How did you block it?
Have you tried dialing 1750 or 175002 to turn it on?

Although I didn't know VM could be blocked I wonder if you will have to wait till after the weekend. I know it appears to be an automated reset...but it's the only thing I can think of as to why it hasn't been activated yet?

Another new one, I've never known voicemail to be blocked

I've heard of when people have problems accessing their voicemail but not actually blocking it

It looks like you can block it by incorrectly entering your pin 3 times when calling from a landline or other phone.

The reset instructions CS gave you are correct.

Have you sent the text and not received the code yet?

Once you receive the code you should then call your vm again and enter the code to unblock it.

Bear in mind that once your voicemail is reset you could lose any stored messages and personal greetings.
