Over the past couple of days i have received missed calls on my payasyougo mobile from 08000641087 and 01613800192. Each time no voicemail was left and when i call the numbers back its an automated message saying o2 have been unable to contact me? The voice on the message is the same as the voice when i call the automated top up line (4444). I called customer service and was told nothing was logged on my account and the calls were probably from a 3rd party. I explained that it was from o2 and the same voice as the automated service but advisor said she did not know these numbers and could not help and the next time they call to answer...... so again this evening 08000641087 called me again, i answered and they never answered me back and hung up???? Its beginning to bug me now!! does anyone have any idea why they would call or what its about? has anyone else received calls like this?
:robotsurprised: :robotsurprised: In the last three weeks, I have had 08000641087 call me 10 times, both on my mobile and on my house phone. On the last ocassion, I answered and spoke, but I had no reply. They call at inappropiate times, like when I'm in lesson, or even when I'm sleeping at 1 am. Its getting on my nerves. How do they have my numbers? And why are they calling me? Most importantly... Who are they???
Me and my brother have been getting calls from that number too, infact they just called me 10 minutes ago. :smileymad: It's starting to get really annoying. I googled the number and this forum came up, so does anyone know WHY ARE THEY CALLING US?!?!?
The company in question is LBM Marketing. They first phoned me on Monday evening, I was not interested in what they were trying to get me to sign up for, and I was busy so I hung up. They tried phoning again yesterday (Tuesday) my other-half answered the phone and then hung up. Promptly 30secs later I get a text saying I had insufficient credit to sign-up for Internation Calls 3 Bolt-on. I hadn't signed up for this as I have no reason to make any international calls, so by power of deduction LBM didnt like being hung-up on. I spoke to O2 and they rectified the problem and gave me £2 credit. So I thought that would be the end of it. Again today I got a text from O2 saying I had successfully sign up for the basic tariff, again I hadn't done this. I contacted O2 and they put me back on the tariff I was originally on and gave me 50mins free calls and 50 free texts. I am hoping this doesnt happen again tomorrow. I guess the moral of the story is: Don't P-off LBM Marketing or they will get their revenge!!
