Yes you have to stay with o2 and it's only if you fully upgrade to a new phone contract.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I should add that it's only to fast track to a refresh contract directly with o2.
You can still upgrade elsewhere or pay off the phone and move to sim only, but unless you can negotiate it, you won't automatically get the 25% discount.

Your phone should be covered by warranty, but where did you get the contract from?

Get it repaired by Samsung, no need to pay off your contract unless you really want a new or different phone

So you are stuck on a 2 year contract then. You really need to get the phone repaired otherwise it's going to cost a fortune to upgrade with a new contract.
