Hi there my mobile data allowance keeps getting taken even when I'm using wifi at home.

CS won't know what or how you've used the data. They will only have a record of data consumption on your account.

O2 isn't controlling your phone. You are. It's highly unlikely that it would be down to O2. If there is a problem, it's more likely to be a fault with the phone. Just follow the advice given. Turn off your data when you don't need it and the problem shouldn't recur.
