mobile data charges

Hello,

Even with mobile data turned off on my device, appears to be using data on my "Bolt On" package. Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks,

Peter

It can take up to 12 hours to update so that is the most likely explanation.
Also 100mb is not very much these days so will be used very quickly.

In all honesty it can't if you have mobile data turned off.
Can you expand a bit more on your problem please?

Not really.  I noticed that my 100mb data allowance had gone down to 22mb in a short space of time without a great deal of usage.  I turned mobile data off that same day and today it is down to 11mb.  Perhaps there is a lag between usage and what is shown as remaining on the O2 website?

Most phones these days also have a data counter so if you reset the counter when your allowance starts you can monitor it more accurately on the phone itself.

Data usually updates at midnight each day so even after switching off mobile data it would still update the same night in My O2.
