Hello, Jean here...
i have an o2 regular sim and i am thinking of getting a phone that has a mini sim slot. is it possible to get a mini sim for my current number or would i have to get a new number?

Please take some photo ID with you for a contract blank style SIM card as they do sometimes ask for it.

I'd recommend taking your old phone and sim with you as they may wish to send a text to confirm you are the account holder.
