iPhone unbarring....

Help!!!!!!

I bought an iPhone off eBay and it was barred, however, o2 have now removed the bar, this was removed on Wednesday.

I was wondering if anybody had an idea how long this takes?

Will I get it done before Friday night?

Hoping so!!

Also, off topic, but wonder if someone has some information,
I was thinking of getting the o2 Pay Monthly simplicty taffif for Blackberry's, would this work with my 2G iPhone for free data?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

On the subject of the tariff, you want to get Simplicity for iPHONE.
I don't know about the unblocking, I didn't even realise that anyone other than the original owner could get it un-barred.
No - there isn't an app for it.

I know that's what would be best, but it's £5 a month more!

Just thinking it would be cheaper that's all!!

Anybody else know?

Thanks!

Please don't mind me asking, but as a matter of interest, how did you get O2 to remove the bar on your phone?

This may help others in the same situation.

Steve, I don't know what you're asking me for. Have the bees got to you?

srh007,
I'd also like to know how, the iPhone was un-blocked.

The Blackberry tariff won't work with an iPhone.

In reply to your question, the person I bought the iPhone off, gave me his details.

Then the lady I spoke to at o2, said would I like to transfer the account over to myself!

Yes please says I!

I only paid £25 for the iPhone!

Bargain or what!!

I'm even more puzzled now. You bought a barred iPhone for £25 and not only managed to get it unblocked but had the account put in your name (which isn't possible!!)
I get the feeling that there's more going on here than we realise.

Sorry if its a bit basic for you to understand!

I bought an iPhone off eBay for £25, I then had it un-barred, and the phone now works fine.

Is that to simple for you to understand!?

Thanks though for clarifying the Blackberry tariff.
