I am new to O2 and have been told that unlimited texts is now 2990, even though when i bought phone and sim in shop was told it was 12000. Fair usage policy changed 5th September!
Yes, I spoke with a customer service agent online and they confirmed the unlimited texts is now 2990. It's a pretty poor limitation for a product that is called 'Unlimited texts'. Especially when compared to what the other companies offer. If you love to text then it's time to find a new PAYG provider.
99,999 with T-Mobile? And O2 now offer 2990? It's a very limited unlimited package isn't it, especially compared to an example of what a competitor offers their customers.
Is that 2990 texts per month? Almost 100 per day? I've not sent 2990 texts in my lifetime, nevermind in a month. That said, unlimited in the English language means without limit. In marketing speak it means "this may seem unlimited to the average user that won't hit the limit" SV (out of touch with the "yoof" of today)
