I am thinking about buying a new phone it is the Mpie 909t, Android 4.4 3g smartphone,quad core, but it only works with GSM +WCDMA networks :850/900/1800/1900 MHZ, WCDMA 850/2100 MHZ. I live in the United Kingdom (England) before i do buy the phone i would just like to know if it would work  here.

Hi @Anonymous and Welcome to the Forum,

To make sure a particular phone works on a countries network all you need to do is google what frequencies bands that Network uses.

The O2 Network uses those bands you mention.

Which Countries / Networks are you waiting to use it on ?

Is it unlocked /,Sim Free to work on all networks as some devices are sim locked ?

Some phones have a Networks bloat ware on them from other countries that can clash with another networks.

Yes, they are standard UK frequencies.

O2 uses WCDMA (3G) 2100 and 900 so you would be restricted to 2100 which has poorer indoor penetration but would work. No UK network uses WCDMA 850 but alll use 2100MHZ.

No worries - The phone also covers some frequencies used in other countries so will be suitable for travelling too.
