Anonymous
Not applicable

hi every1, about 4 month ago i have signed up for a 24 month business contract from o2. last week my contract has been cancelled by o2 for breachig the terms and conditioned which i think is unfair and i have given a bill of 540 pound.

breachig the terms and conditioned is for using calling card numbers which are simple call (0208) , i didnt know anything about it and i havnt received any kind of warnings either via email, text or letters. now they are saying they cant do anything and asking me to pay bill for

next 20 months left on my contract which i am not using. in this economic downturn i am strugling to pay this huge bill. can someone give me a advise what to do, please would be appriciated . thanks

The best way is to either phone cs on 202 from your mobile, use live chat, contact us at bottom of page then click live chat, email will take up to 10 working days for a response as this is an account issue

Wow, how many calls were you making?

How could your phone be making these calls without you knowing?

You could try a formal complaint here:

I think they're charging £540 to end the contract because of the "breech"

Ill have to concur an official complaint is your only avenue.

I didn't realise this would constitute a breech on contract. I'm surprised it is if I'm honest, you'd of thought it would be fairly common use.

It's not illegal is it.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

Am I understanding this correctly.... Your contract has been cancelled because you used a calling card....?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I suspect that figure is the outstanding amount on the contract.

I think there is more to this than we have been told here.

Sending spam possibly, it must be something extreme to have a contract cancelled 4 months into a 2 year term.

Diverting calls to avoid charges, who knows?
