Why is my mobile bill over £60 this month?

Anonymous

Topic.

I'm on a £32 a month contract with 600 minutes a month and unlimited texts, and every month I only ever use about 2 hours worth of calls (120 minutes) and only a few texts, so why is my bill nearly double the £32?!

I suspect part of the reason is because I use premium rate directory services such as 118118, but I always text STOP after they've sent me the numbers I need, is it possible I'm still getting charged at a premium for this service?!

I don't really want to switch providers, as I am happy with O2 because they're the only provider with UK call centres.

Yeah but last month my bill was only about £52, which is still a bit on the expensive side but not as expensive as this month!

So in my o2 seletct the bill and then use the option to see the breakdown (not sure correct route as I am a business customer) then you should see exactly what you are being charged for.

Did you swap to 118402 rather than 118118?

There are 2 things wrong with the 118402 service, it's charged at a quid a minute, and is not UK based.

118118 is £2 a minuite

Please look at your bill and see what the extra charges are for then post back and people can make suggestions.

Did you look at the 195 option as you stat you have a disability? which was in the links on moneysupermarket I posted in the other thread?

Why are you using 118402???

Do you have a smartphone? If so just Google it?

Download the bt phonebook and/or yellow pages apps. The 118 numbers are extortionate!

Yes they are a rip off and don't really see why anyone needs to use them these days
