Why did I pay when I sent pictures in messages?

Anonymous

Hello,

I have an unlimited plan for calls and texts + 5Go of data. I have received my first bill and see that I have paid for many messages with pictures sent to a UK number. I thought it was included in my plan. Would you know why?

Many thanks

iMessages are fine yes, it's only messages sent over the SMS gateway.

Nope, hasn't been included for ages,
Best off calling cs and explaining your mistaken assumption.

Your pictures were sent as MMS which will cost. Have a look at this guide

If you send many picture messages (MMS) you can get a bolt on which makes them cheaper. CS can assist you with this or you can select it in your My O2.
However, many people these days will use other apps to send long messages or pictures to multiple recipients which will do so for free.
