Weird bill this month!

Anonymous
Not applicable

So as chat doesn't seem to be active... I'll try here..

Our monthly bill is usually £11 odd (just tarriff) - minutes are always charged at £0.00 as we don't go over our tarriff. For some reason this month, we have £37 worth of charges for minutes

I've gone through the bill, nothing odd as it's all numbers and times we usually call but for some reason they're now chargeable instead of free...

We haven't changed tariff, our tariff is still active. What's going on???

Any help appreciated

Have you been charged for all calls from particular time?

if so, check how many under a minute calls you have as this are rounded to full minute.

The OP has stated that they normally do not get charged & do exactly Normal to their routine.

you are incorrect as if they are within their allowance they won't be charged at all. I never am for less than a minute

I will be interested to know what O2 say was the reason for this. Most peculiar...and worrying..

I am right, any Calls less than one minute is rounded to the Full Minute and a minute taken for Allowance. Any longer than a minute, then charged the exact Call time.

The OP has not stated when the call were charged from. Hence I asked the question.

The relevant point here is that they think they should have 500 free mins, so call time is irrelevant unless the 500 mins have been used already.

Most networks have implemented a minimum of 1 min taken from allowance for any calls less than minute.

So 500 mins can be used up with 500 calls of less than a minute.

Indeed, but as the OP states they were charged an additional £11 for calls, that would only equate to 65 mins - a long way off the 500 min allowance (calculated at full one min prices).

I have just checked with Live Chat and can confirm what I posted is right.

I am PAYG with O2 so cannot check, but someone who has a PAYM and not on Unlimited Minutes, will be able to confirm this from their Bill.

Right or wrong about your point of per min billing, it still doesn't explain this issue (unless the allowance was used, which has not been stated).
I can't see the relevance of you keeping on repeating it?
