I have just logged into my O2 account, and I have O2 Travel as a bolt on. The status is "Active"
Tarrif whilst on Europe
50p connection fee
Text 10p
Data £1.99 per day
This then comes off your monthly allowance.
My sister, and her family, are in Bulgaria, she got there Wednesday, (we are joining them on Monday) and before she went she checked her O2 account online, it also said O2 Travel: Status "Active". Now she believes she is spenging 50p connection, then the minutes are from her allowance, she was on the phone to me for 30 minutes or so last night.
I have looked into this and O2 tell me it is not active until 1st July. I have questioned why it is showing on peoples accounts as active now when it is in fact not for another 10 days or so. They just tell me thats how it is...This is very misleading, and as far as I am concerned should not read as "Active" until it is really "Active" IE 1st July.... There will be some big bills.....

I think you would have a very strong case for the charges to be refunded by O2. If it shows as active then I too would expect the calls to come from my allowance after the connection charge of 50p.

So would I. I have spoken to O2, and they have said via online chat and on the phone it is not active until 1st July. I have let my family know, and they basically said that O2 should have made that clearer, IE either not put it on, or if it is on the bolt ons, male it "Inactive".

When you look at the charges for O2 travel it states the date when it starts from
