Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to change your number say 4 or 5 months in to your new O2 contract using a PAC key.  I have to run down the clock on an orange contract first but want to get a second O2 contract for my Wife who's with Orange to get a new device ASAP.

TIA

Yes you can do it anytime.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Simply give your PAC to customer service when you are ready. I don't recommend live chat for this, call 202.

Thanks all for your help.  The guides don't cover off porting your number a few months in to a contract but thanks for confirmation that this can be done which is good.

Does anyone here get discounts on the air time part due to employer benefits etc and if so do you know if porting the number will upset the discount so to speak. Can't see it, but I ported my number the same day for my own contract and it screwed up the discount before getting it fixed.

Thanks again.

I have friends and family discount and porting my number made no difference.

Porting a number will make no difference to your O2 account tariff or discounts.
