Unlock my iPhone 4S

Anonymous
Not applicable
I upgraded my iPhone 4S to 5S wanted to give my old phone (4S)to my son - but I am having extreme difficulty in getting the old 4S unlocked. I have requested O2 to do this on more than 3 occasions but with no joy!! Tried to follow the on line instructions to carry out this operation to be told that too many requests for this unlock have now been received. Can any one suggest a solution to my problem?

What reasons have they given for not unlocking ?

Security question failures ?

Other options.

Wait and try again.

Ring cs on 202 contract or 4445 Payg to ask for clarification / help.

Ask a friend or family member with the correct sized sim to put it in the iPhone , make calls to latch the imei to their account and they request the unlock.

Get a Payg sim. Top up by £20. Make some chargeable calls to latch again. Pay the £15 unlock fee.

There are no other "safe" ways to unlock but without knowing the reason for rejection it's difficult to advise further.....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Speak to customer service and find out the reason for refusal. They may put it through for you.
