Unlimited O2 to O2 and call divert?

I often divert my calls to my landline when I'm at home. If someone on O2 which has unlimited calls to O2 numbers calls my mobile and it diverts to my landline, does it still count as O2 to O2? i.e. no charge for the call?

Unlimited O2 to O2 and call divert?

No you will be charged for the call as its not part of the allowence.

Any diverts you put on the phone, you general have to pay for.

Hope this helps

Unlimited O2 to O2 and call divert?

Yes, Why wouldnt you say it doesnt seem right?

The diverts are not part of the allowence and are general a chargeable aspect.

The only free divert is to your voice mail.

All mobile networks charge including landline companies (Normaly)

They charge you as they are having to transfer the call on to some one else, which incurs extra charges and another line is then left open while your on the phone.

Hope that makes sense

Unlimited O2 to O2 and call divert?

If your mobile is set to divert to your land line it does this by literally dialling back out to your chosen number and transferring the incoming call to it. Because of this, a diverted call is treated by the billing system as an outgoing call and as long as you're diverting to a standard line it'll come out your inclusive minutes. Diverts to voicemail are free though :smileyhappy:

Unlimited O2 to O2 and call divert?

The best thing you could do is try it, divert your phone to your home while your there and then make a call to your mobile and answer the landline. Stay on the call for at least 15 seconds.

I would the cancel your divert and check your bill on line and see if you have been charged.

The bill is general updated within 4 hours, but can take longer.

If you can see a call on there to your landline and the correct time and it says free, then you know its free. However if you get charged then you know you are going to be charged for it.

This is on the o2 website regarding diverts:

**********************************************
Call divert

If you can’t answer your mobile, you can divert your calls to another number of your choice. It won’t cost you a thing to set up a divert, but you will be charged for the diverted calls according to your usual tariff. For example, if you divert to another O2 phone you’ll be charged at your O2 to O2 rate, and so on.

This is also how you set them up too

O2 mobile to O2 mobile diversion charges

Greetings

I have 2 O2 mobiles.

1 is pay as you go.
1 is monthly

I would like the pay as you go calls to be redirected to my monthly number.

Seeing that both phones are in the same network, does this incur a charge. If so, why? If not, let me know how I set this up.

Many thanks
