Sony Z1 compact and pay monthly MMS

Anonymous
Not applicable
I am at the end of my tether with O2 and Mms messages to my phone. I have been on the phone for hours, been to see guru, tried settings, received a new sim card and installed my sim on my work phone which does receive mms with my work sim and still no Mms. I keep getting a link to a Web site. O2 customer services are useless and even when I threatened to leave they didn't care except to remind me I needed to pay off my device plan.
Anyone got an idea for sorting this please.

Sounds like it's not provisioned on your account.
Ask cs to remove mms completely and wait 24 hours before asking them to re-provision it for you.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi@Anonymous   At the risk of teaching granny to suck eggs,  have you Mobile Data switched on?  As far as I know MMS will not work otherwise - at least it does not on my S4.

Hi,

Yes mobile is switched on.  I have also done the provision requests.

As @MI5 all evidence points to provisioning of mms on your account. Follow the guidance. If it works great if not please come back and let us know

OP has been with an O2 Guru -  is provisioning not one of the first things that would have been checked? Or am I missing something?

It will show as active on the account even if not correctly provisioned.
Just looking at the account won't prove anything.
